This scholarship was founded by the six HollisWealth ® advisors (as above) in 2014 – Deborah Kohlsmith, Kelly Wood, Gary Elder, Alfred Redman, Shane Nixon and Kimberly Seipt in partnership with the management team at HollisWealth.

     It was born from a longstanding sentiment towards giving back and how we collectively feel about post-secondary education in general.

     There are two substantive monetary awards presented to two first year college or University students each year.  They must submit an essay on who and what they want to be & why. 

     It fills each of us with great pride to give back in a meaningful way to students who are beginning their lives.  It has been very interesting to see the calibre of our participants’ & subsequent winners’ essays and lives.  If our scholarship is any indication, we have raised some wonderful young adults who will hopefully strive to make the world a better place for all of us in the future.
